Appeals Information:

The Faculty/Staff Appeals Board and the Student Traffic Appeals Committee function independently of Parking Services. Each committee is the sole and exclusive avenue of appeal for University parking violations. All decisions are final.

Parking Services neither participates in the deliberations of the committees, nor influences the outcome of appeals. Parking Services forwards written appeals to the committees and reports the committee decisions by letter to each person who has filed an appeal.

Appeals are submitted only in written form, and documents and photographs may be attached to the appeal statement. Please obtain a form at the Parking Office, or print a form from this web site, and attach your supporting documentation when submitting your appeal. Documentation provided after the appeal is submitted may not be sent to the committee. Send your appeal through the web site only if there is no supporting documentation.

Students, faculty, and staff who have received a Miami University parking citation may appeal it via this web site. Please follow the appropriate link below and the directions on the form to appeal a parking citation on-line.

Appeals filed by students after April 11 will not be reviewed by the Committee until Fall semester. The Student Appeals Committee does not meet during the summer.

Questions about parking citations or appeals may be directed to the Parking Office, 529-8535, during business hours. Appeals submitted via this site will be processed during business hours.
