Walt Vanderbush is currently doing research in the area of Latin American foreign policies. One article project deals with the effectiveness of the Chavez foreign policy in Venezuela, and the second looks at Cuban foreign policy in the post-Cold War period. Working with co-author, Melanie Ziegler, Vanderbush is also at the early stages of a book manuscript covering Caribbean Politics.
