Honors/Awards

The Philosophy Department offers several awards and programs to recognize and support exceptional academic work in philosophy among undergraduate students.   These include the Hall Prize in Moral Philosophy, the Linda Singer scholarship, and Departmental Honors, which are sponsored by the department, and the Undergraduate Associate and Dean's Scholar program, which are university-wide honors that can be received through the philosophy department. Students interested in any of these awards should see the information included here on individual programs and/or contact the Chair, William McKenna, for more information.
