Assistantships
A limited number of graduate assistantships are available on a competative basis. These require half-time work (approximately 15-20 hours per week) assisting a faculty member. In 2007-2008 assistantships paid
$10,230 plus remission of tuition
costs. In addition, there is
an opportunity to receive at least
$1800 for summer study after one
has been a graduate assistant during
the regular academic year; this $1,800
scholarship involves no work
duties, but students who wish
to receive it must register for 12
credit hours (also with tuition remission)
during the summer.
