Apply OWP principles and practices to find out what works for you and your students. You will correspond via email with an action research advisor as you try out new ideas, implement new techniques, and experiment with new strategies. Prerequisite: Teaching of Writing | |||
| Classroom Research II | Spring | 2 |
Continue to refine the reflective teaching practice you began in the first semester as you explore the nature of action research and how it relates to your teaching. You will work with your action research advisor to understand the process and look at specific topics for your individual research. Prerequisite: Classroom Research I | |||

Work with your action research advisor to develop a classroom research project, choose a research model, explore research to support your project, and design the study. Prerequisites: Classroom Research I and II | |||

Work with a faculty advisor and your action research advisor to ensure a successful paper to complete your MAT and to present at the OWP/MAT Conference. Prerequisites: Classroom Research I, II, and III. | |||

Learn principles of successful presentations and refine your final project presentation in preparation for the OWP/MAT Conference. Prerequisites: Classroom Research I, II, III, and IV. |
