The Miami University Fact Book is a compilation of
statistics about the university, prepared by the Office
of Institutional Research.
The data in the Fact Book comes from a variety of
sources. The Glossary contains more information about how we define elements
- such as who is included and when data is extracted
from university systems.
Institutional Research thanks the departments across
campus who contribute data to the Fact Book, including
Admissions, Financial Aid, Library, University Relations,
Physical Facilities, Advancement Services, and the
Office of the Controller.
Paper copies of the Fact Book are available for some
previous years in the Office of Institutional Research.
However in recent years the formal Fact Book has not
been produced. Data on student enrollment, tuition,
faculty, finances and other items is available and
may be requested through the IR office.
