Miami University undergraduates are invited to present results of independent research projects and other creative activities at our annual event. Students may chose to present research results in either a 15-minute oral synopsis, in one of three interactive poster session. USS 2012 Undergraduate Summer Scholars
Application deadline was December 2, 2011. The USS Program of Individual Faculty Mentorship for Miami University Sophomores and Juniors offers 100 hundred awards for Miami Students to carry out a summer research project in 2012. |

(FYRE) First Year Research Experience
Deadline extended to September 30, 2011
This learning community program offers First Year students an opportunity to engage in research and to establish early contact with a faculty mentor. First year students are invited to apply to participate. The FYRE program is still recruiting students to participate in the program which is a year long commitment. Miami University will host the 18th annual celebration of undergraduate research.
We expect around 500 students to present results of their research. Students can choose to do an oral presentation or chose a poster presentation format. Online registration will open in mid January 2012.
