Private Foundations

OARS will pre-screen and coordinate all requests to these community foundations and set priorities for the request. Funding from regional community foundations are an integral resource for many Miami faculty members. However, community foundations like Hamilton or Cincinnati limit the number of Miami-based funding requests during each funding cycle.

Cleveland Foundation
Miami pre-approval one month before Letter of Intent Date
No deadline applications are reviewed as they are received. Notification may take 8-10 weeks, depending on the amount requested and the complexity of the proposal.

Columbus Foundation
Miami pre-approval one month before Letter of Intent Date
Depends on which foundation you are looking at. The dates for the responsive grants are not available yet.

Dayton Foundation
