Research Compliance

Federal, State and University regulations assure the safety and ethical practice of research and related scholarly activities. It is important to be familiar with these regulations before you start any research or teaching projects outside regular classroom situations that involve humans, animals, radiation, and certain biological manipulations. Staff members from the Office for the Advancement of Research and Scholarship (OARS) who serve on, and act as liaisons to the regulatory committees or the commmittee chairs will be glad to consult with you about the regulations governing such research activities .
