Animal Care Required Training

All faculty, students, and staff are *REQUIRED* to complete a two-part training if they are using or planning to use live vertebrate animals in research and/or teaching.

First Part: The 2008 Fall Animal Care Training Course is scheduled for:

You must logon in TRAIN and select the course "Miami University Animal Care Training Session".

Second Part: All researchers must take the AALAS online Training. An account will be set up for you after you take the MU Animal Traing Course listed above. If you did not attend the first part of the required training and need to complete the AALAS online training, contact the Dr. Neal Sullivan, Research Compliance Officer for approval and if approved then an account will be assigned to you and you will receive an email with your username and password to access the AALAS online training.

AALAS Update 2007

To Animal Users:

The AALAS Online Learning Library has recently undergone significant changes and updates. This has resulted in a change in the way the modules needed for training at Miami University are displayed.

Please use the updated AALAS docment below for instruction on the new system and how to complete the online training.

Finally, please be aware that we are currently working with AALAS to make your training experience easy to navigate and relevant to our institution.
