We are interested in neural mechanisms of behavioral plasticity. In particular, we investigate how an animal's experiences or motivational state can influence its behavioral responses. We use a variety of experimental approaches and tools including behavioral assays, electrophysiology, HPLC, immunocytochemistry, confocal microscopy, and molecular biology techniques.
