Miami University EMS is now accepting applications for the position of Emergency Medical Technician.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, October 2, 2009 at 5:00 PM.

Applications can be submitted in the following manners:

• Drop off the application the Police Services Center, located on State Route 73 (in front of the Ditmer Parking Lot), between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday;

Please note: For this application process, you must:

• Be currently certified as an EMT-Basic or higher, have completed over 75 percent of EMT-Basic training, or are in the process of obtaining Ohio certification through reciprocity;
• Be a freshman, sophomore, or junior, or have a strong likelihood of graduating no earlier than May 2011; and
• Be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
