The MTSC Computer Lab
The MTSC program's computer laboratory contains a variety of hardware and software assembled exclusively for the use of students and faculty in the program. This equipment includes both Macintosh and Windows computers, as well as laser printers, Zip drives, and a scanner. Internet access allows students and faculty to communicate with other individuals and organizations via email or gather information using the World Wide Web.
Available software includes word processing, graphics, electronic mail, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, and multimedia authoring programs. Typical software used in MTSC courses are Word, PageMaker, PowerPoint, the Macromedia suite, FrameMaker, and Freehand.
Other Resources
The University has abundant library resources, including traditional printed (books, journals, publications) and online (linked terminals and training classes) resources. Also available on campus are a graphics design laboratory, a photo-silkscreen laboratory, darkrooms, and radio, television, and audiovisual laboratories.
