Once the newly developed application has been deployed
into its production environment, it is turned over to
the Production Support and Support Center staff.
The Production Support staff is responsible
for scheduling, output management and general support
of the application. If the application is to be set
up in EM, the automated job scheduler, 'turnover' documentation
is required. The developer will complete the 'turnover'
documentation by completing the Production Job Definition
form.
The
Support Center staff is responsible for front-line support
of all applications and services. Background and environment
information for each application and service are needed
along with commonly asked questions and solutions. Both
the 'Background' and 'Question/Solution' documents are
to be completed by the developer.
