Miami University Student Technology Fee
The Student Technology Fee, passed by the Board of Trustees in February 2006, funds programs and services that support students in achieving their academic program goals, while also enhancing their life at Miami.
Some of the recent improvements include:
increased Support Desk hours

a new satellite support desk in King Library

increased bandwidth for student use
Call For Proposals
A pool of funds from the Student Technology Fee has been created to stimulate the development of innovative student-focused technology projects on the Oxford campus. A total of $525,000 is available.
To apply for the competitive funds, a proposal must be submitted in accordance with the Student Tech Fee Guidelines for Expenditures. Any student, faculty member, staff member, group, or department on the Oxford campus may submit a proposal. Please see Call for Proposals (FY 09) to review the proposals that have been submitted.
The deadline for proposals was March 15, 2008.
