Miami University: Survey Tools — Training and Related Resources
Required Online Training Prior to Requesting a Checkbox or Snap Account
To ensure that faculty and staff are familiar with the University data confidentiality requirements and how to meet these requirements when using the University-provided survey tools, the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the IT Services Information Security Office require completion of the online Survey Tools & Data Protection training.
Please Note: Completion of this training is not required if you are requesting a 'Report Viewing Only' account for Checkbox. Access the Checkbox Account Request form to submit a request for a 'Report Viewing Only' account.
To complete this training:
- Review the online Survey Tools and Data Protection presentation (PDF format, estimated review time: 30 minutes)
- Take the online Survey Tools and Data Protection exam (estimated completion time: 15 minutes) - a score of 90% or higher is required
Note: Requires you to logon with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password.
