Which tool is right for me?

Below is a brief description of each tool to help you decide which tool to use:

• Checkbox - A Web-only survey tool
  This tool supports authoring, delivery, and responding for online surveys for both Windows and Macintosh users. Faculty and staff needing to deliver an online survey can quickly learn how to build and deploy a survey using this user-friendly tool.

• Snap Surveys – A Windows-based survey tool for Web and scannable paper surveys
  Snap Surveys requires software installation and supports authoring of surveys on Windows computers only. This tool provides the ability to deliver surveys for both online and scannable paper formats. Faculty and staff can build a paper survey and use the scanning option to save the data in an electronic format. Participants can respond to online surveys via a Macintosh or Windows computer.
