Support Center

use the term "Support Center" when it's clear from the context that the topic is computing support.  If further clarification is necessary for specific contexts, you can use "the MCIS Support Center" or "the MCIS Support Center at Miami University   

The Support Center is a department of MCIS, but commonly thought of as a place that offers help with computing to MU students, faculty, and staff via telephone (529-7900, walk-in and extended consultations by appointment, and e-mail to Helpdesk@muohio.edu. The Support Center also provides computing help 24 hours a day via its Web pages: Computing Help Online (http://www.muohio.edu/helpdesk/) and The Knowledge Base (http://kb.muohio.edu)
