University Owned Computers
Miami's Campus Agreement allows the university's technical support personnel to
install the following software on university owned computers.
- Window Operating System upgrades
- Office Products
Due to licensing restrictions and Microsoft's anti-piracy policies, Windows Vista Enterprise and Office 2007 are only available for delivery to university-owned computers via Altiris. Contact the Support Desk to request that the software be delivered to a computer in your area. Older versions of the software may be obtained by logging a call to the Support Desk at 513-529-7900 or sending an e-mail to supportdesk@muohio.edu. Any keys that are issued are the property
of Miami University and must be held confidential. This software is to be installed
on university owned computers only.
"Other" Microsoft Software for University Owned Computers:
Miami also has a "Select" software agreement that allows the university
to purchase software titles, other than listed above at greatly discounted prices.
For detailed order instructions, see Knowledge Base Case #2808, Order Microsoft
Select Agreement Software for University Owned Computers.
