Information Technology Services' Civility Statement
(Adopted February 9, 2004)

Prologue

In accordance with the Miami University Statement Asserting Respect for Human Diversity, we in IT Services are committed to the promotion of civility in our diverse environment, recognizing the value and contributions of all who work, live, teach and study in the Miami community.

Purpose of this Statement

It is our purpose to foster the development of both the individual and the IT Services division in an environment where civility is valued, appreciated and expected. IT Services is committed to the delivery of efficient and innovative support services to our customers through the collaborative process. We support effective communication, respect, a common vision, teamwork, recognition and a unified community. For this to be successful, we must capitalize on the diverse talents, backgrounds, and abilities of people within the entire division.
