Jacks
The devices or data jacks listed on this web page have
been placed in the quarantine network to protect the
network from a device that presents a threat. The device
exhibited behavior that is typically associated with
a virus, worm, or trojan present on the device.
Users may contact the IT Services Support Desk at 529-7900
to have a quarantined device serviced by our technicians
at the Computer
Remediation Center.
Disabled Network
When the activity from the device is so severe that
the network cannot tolerate any traffic from the device,
its service is terminated at the data jack.
All data jacks will be re-enabled each day between
midnight and 12:30AM. Once re-enabled, if the data jack
does not make massive demands on the network, it will
remain enabled. If the data jack negatively impacts
the network, it will be disabled again.
