Research Computing Services at Miami University (RCS)

Mission

The goal of the Research Computing Support (RCS) group is to assist with the use of technology so that researchers can concentrate on core research activities. The RCS group can collaborate or consult with researchers to provide assistance with topics such as writing, debugging, and maintaining software; working with high performance computing (HPC); working with digital texts; working with databases; analyzing or visualizing data; getting new students trained on the hardware and software used by a research group; help using resources at the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC); and support for grant proposals. The RCS group supports a variety of software packages including several statistical packages, Matlab , and numerous packages on Miami's High Performance Computing cluster (link to HPC software page). Follow this link for more info on software support.
