ACADEMIC TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Academic Technology Services (ATS) is engaged in supporting faculty at Miami in transforming students into scholars.  ATS is a component in the ongoing process to transform how we teach and learn by moving from a teaching paradigm to learning and discovery paradigms, and embracing inquiry based learning.  The units in ATS provide resources that support excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, faculty and student pursuit of scholarly discovery and creation, and attraction and retention of outstanding faculty and students.  

ATS has four groups that collaborate to support the teaching, learning and discovery/research activities in Miami's academic environment.  These groups are:

• Advanced Learning Technologies

• Classroom Technology Services

• Learning Technology Center

• Research Computing Support

Support provided by ATS is free to all members of the Miami community.  Call or email us to find out more or drop by our offices - no appointment needed!.  We're centrally housed on the 3rd floor of Gaskill Hall.  The Learning Technolog Center (student lab) is on the 2nd floor.
