EVENTS IN LUXEMBOURG
Differdange Music Gig... Autre Part Restaurant in Differdange (the black awninged place in the square at the foot of the hill) is way into the music and artistic film scene and has a gig this Thursday, July 3 at 21:00. The band is Khale, a group from Denver with an acoustic/ambient/pop sound- http://www.myspace.com/khalesongs . Tickets are 5 euro and reservations can be made at info@autrepart.lu .
Spanish Film Festival... Utopia, Lux City’s movie theater for more artsy films, is hosting a Spanish film festival until July 3rd. All films are en espanol! Student entry = 6,50 €. http://www.utopolis.lu/index.php?page=188&id=67
Open Air Art Exhibit in the Grund... Abbaye de Neumünster in the Grund is currently showing an open air exhibit called “Sahel – L’homme face au Désert.” See under “Expositions en cours.” http://www.ccrn.lu/FR/program.php?ID=310&LA=FR
KT Tunstall in Lux... KT Tunstall, the folk/pop singer/songwrite from Scotland, will be playing at the Atelier in Lux City (7/4), 26€)! Visit www.atelier.lu for times and tixs!
Public Pool Info... Oberkorn’s outdoor pool is open everyday from 10am-8pm (6pm if the weather is bad) and only costs 3,50€!

MUDEC ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
Moselle Boat Cruise… Get ready for one last hoorah on and Thursday, July 3 when we will take a coach bus at 14:30 from the chateau to the east of Luxembourg for a fun and relaxing boat cruise on the picturesque Moselle River! Expect to be home around 19:30/20:00.
Sell Phones… Get it? Deposit of working phone/charger combos, phone directions, and your payment details with Nicole. Phones sold to students next semester will bank you a 20 euro equivalent check!
No More Room... As you pack up, if you would like to donate clothes, books, toiletries, medicine, travel books, etc, please leave these items in a box near the cave kitchen. You may also choose to leave certain things with your host family or for your friends coming next semester.
MSP Final Curtain Call… With the program quickly coming to an end, there are a few items that must be tended to before departure.
PLEASE:
- Empty your mailboxes in the cave
- Consume/ dispose of food in the cave kitchen
- Clear your lockers of all personal contents
Let’s Go for Hike… Mr. Hoff has offered a hike of the Müllerthal, Lux’s “Little Switzerland,” on Sat, July 5. If you will still be around, strongly consider this great opportunity! Email Nicole with interest!
