We are very sorry, but registration for the Lilly Conference is now closed, and we can accept no more registrations at this time.

Conference Costs

The Lilly Conference on College Teaching is pleased to announce that conference costs will not be raising for a third year in a row!

Capacity

Due to space constraints, the Lilly Conference is limiting attendees to the first 600 registrants and therefore, we encourage you to register for the conference early. Once the Conference reaches 600 attendees, registrations will be added to a "wait-list" and those interested in attending will be contacted in the order in which they sign-up, as space becomes available.

Payment of Lilly Conference fees can be made in one or more of the following ways:

Graduate students and retirees will receive a 25% discount off all conference fees, including workshops, meals, and lodging.

Thursday Pre-Conference Workshops Option

You may sign up for a Thursday pre-conference workshop regardless of whether you are attending the full conference.

This option includes:

  • Workshop materials
  • Thursday lunch (for full-day workshops only) at the Marcum Conference Center

This option does not include:

  • Registration for the rest of the Lilly Conference (Thursday evening-Sunday)
  • Lodging or other meals
  • Meals for half-day workshops
  • The conference program book
  • Thursday evening conference activities

Conference Registration

Early Bird Registration: If your registration is received by midnight (Eastern Daylight Time) on October 10, you will receive a $50.00 discount.

The registration fee includes:

  • Registration fee for the conference
  • Conference program book
  • Receptions, break refreshments, and parties

The registration fee does not include:

  • Lodging (you can purchase conference lodging seperately; or to make your own arrangements, click here to see area lodging options)
  • Thursday pre-conference workshops
  • Meals at the Marcum Conference Center or the Miami Inn for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; these may be purchased separately in advance

If you are only attending a Thursday pre-conference workshop, you do not need to register for the entire conference.

Conference Lodging Option

This option includes:

  • Lodging for Friday and Saturday nights at one of the 3 participating hotels. We will arrange lodging for you.

Because space is limited, we will make lodging reservations for you. Lodging will be provided at one of the following:

  • Baymont Inn & Suites
  • Best Western
  • Miami Inn
The Marcum Conference Center is reserved for featured presenters, conference staff, and those with disabilities. We will attempt to satisfy your preferences for lodging, but space is limited. You can chose either a single room, or room with another conference attendee at a lower rate. The Hueston Woods Resort is approximately 15 minutes from the conference and because of the distance, a shuttle will be available specifically for this lodging option. While there is a shuttle that travels to each hotel, the Hueston Woods shuttle will be separate from the other shuttle service.

This option does not include:

  • Wednesday or Thursday lodging
  • Thursday pre-conference workshops
  • Meals

These options can all be puchased seperately.

Thursday Arrival Supplement Option

There are pre-conference workshops on Thursday, and the conference opening plenary is Thursday evening. This supplement includes lodging for Thursday night. No meals are included.

Wednesday Arrival Supplement Option

The Wednesday arrival supplement includes lodging for Wednesday night. No meals are included.

Meals at the Conference Center

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at the conference center from Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon. Meal tickets must be purchased in advance, and are not available for sale at the conference itself.

  • Breakfast: $12 each
  • Lunch: $25 each
  • Dinner: $30 each
