About the Miami Student

The Miami Student is a student-operated newspaper published every Tuesday and Friday during the regular academic year. It covers campus and community news, and also contains features and editorials. The entertainment newsmagazine, Amusement, which features movie, music and book reviews, and other feature material, is published each Thursday.

The Student staff always needs writers, editors and designers who are willing to dedicate themselves to the steady production required for regular publication. Students who would like to work for either the Student or Amusement are invited to contact the editors at 529-2256. The Student's offices are located in the basement of MacMillan Hall. Production nights are Monday and Thursday for The Student, Wednesday for Amusement.
