For other students:
Inside Washington accepts students from all undergraduate majors as well as graduate programs. We will look at coursework, extra curricular-activities, and experience when deciding whether to accept the student.

There is no GPA or class standing prerequisite. It is rare for a sophomore to be accepted, but with a strong background and interest in politics and the media, it is possible. The key is that students have a serious interest in learning how politics, government and media intersect in Washington and are willing and able to work hard during the program.

The program is very competitive, so unfortunately even highly-qualified applicants may be turned down.
