Barbara Jena, Director – Barbara Jena is a versatile and accomplished CIA/CISA with over twenty years internal audit experience in higher education.  She developed a broad and comprehensive audit and consulting program that serves Miami University’s Oxford, Ohio campus, as well as three regional and one European campus.  Ms. Jena has expertise in collaborating with diverse groups to improve internal control and reduce risk.  She is known for developing staff with a flexible leadership style that enables individuals and results in the successful delivery of projects. 

Barbara received her BS in Business Administration from Miami University and is a graduate of the CACUBO Management Institute. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), earning the Institute of Internal Auditor’s William S. Smith Certificate of Honor for outstanding performance on the May 2001 CIA exam - one of the 25 best exam papers out of 6000 candidates worldwide.  She has also been a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2002.

Jeff Pidcock, Associate Auditor - Hired in August 2011. Jeff graduated with a BS in Accountancy from Miami University in May 2011 with cum Laude honors. Prior to being hired full-time, Jeff worked as an intern in Internal Audit and Consulting Services.

Jingjing Ye, Student Auditor - While working as Student Internal Auditor, Jingjing is pursuing a Master of Accountancy degree from Miami University. She also received her BS in Accountancy from Miami University in May, 2011. In the past, she worked as an Internal Audit intern with a major manufacturing firm and served on the Internal Audit Committee of the First Miami Credit Union.
