B.A Degree

Objective: This bulletin for undergraduate majors in history supplements the current General Bulletin, the Student Handbook, the Guidebook for New Students, and other specialized publications of the university. It is not a substitute for these guides but is an additional aid for history majors. University and divisional requirements should be determined from the Bulletin. The department makes every effort to keep undergraduate majors informed of the requirements for the B.A. degree with a field of concentration in history through an advisory system including a Chief Departmental Adviser and several undergraduate advisers. It must be remembered, however, that the ultimate responsibility for fulfilling all requirements rests with the student.
