Work in Progress
Dr. Blaisdell’s current work includes an essay on “The History of Science as a Resource for Interdisciplinary Studies.” Her book project, Going to Extremes: The Scientific Exploration of Extreme Terrestrial Environments, includes history, history of science, and critical evaluation of writings on the North and South Poles, Mount Everest, Amazonia including the rainforest canopy, Tropical Africa, Indonesia, and the abyss and vents of the sea.
