Michael
Rouland is a Havighurst Center Postdoctoral Fellow in
History. He received his Ph.D. from Georgetown University. Prior to coming
to Miami, he held a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Central Asian and Islamic Studies
at Stanford University. Dr. Rouland will be serving as the Center's Assistant Director for the 2007-08 academic year.

Neringa Klumbyte is a Havighurst Center Postdoctoral Fellow in International Studies. She received her PhD in Anthropology from the Universityof Pittsburgh in 2006. Her dissertation, Ethnography of Voting: Nostalgia, Subjectivity, and Popular Politics in Post-Socialist Lithuania, explored political subjectivities to explain voting behavior in the period of 2003-2004 in Lithuania.
