I am currently working as a German to English freelance translator in the San Francisco Bay Area. I thank Miami University for providing me with a very solid foundation in German language, literature and culture. I believe that my studies at M.U. prepared me well for graduate studies and ultimately for my career in translation. Since leaving M.U., I have embarked on numerous adventures abroad including Peace Corps service in Armenia and teaching English abroad in the JET Program. I'm looking forward to the next adventure!
