Undergraduate Program
Miami University offers majors in both geography and urban and regional planning, both of which are administered by the Department of Geography. The study of geography integrates a variety of perspectives in the examination of different people, cultures, and the environment. Urban and regional planning is an interdisciplinary major within which students will learn theories about community problems and techniques to solve such problems. The curriculum for both majors prepares students for employment in a variety of fields.
