Internship

Seniors who have completed most of their required courses are strongly encouraged to do an internship with a local planning agency. Positions for qualified students are arranged by the urban and regional planning advisers. The internship must be taken for credit/no credit, and the hours earned do not count towards the 40 semester hours needed for the major, although they do count towards the 128 semester hours needed to graduate from Miami. The internship is normally done for 3 semester hours.
