Facilities
The Geography Department at Miami University has comprehensive GIS/computing facilities to support research and teaching in geography. These facilities include a GIS focused computer lab with 26 Windows based computers with state of the art GIS, ESRI, ERDAS and IDRISI software. In terms of personnel, these facilities are supported by a full-time GIS Coordinator, and, in terms of equipment, a large format (E size) color ink jet printer. Supplemental university facilities include a Center for Information Management, a map library, and an audio-visual service.
