This program is distinct from the professional music programs because it contains a higher percentage of liberal arts courses and a lower percentage of music courses.
The BA serves the student who neither wants to teach or pursue a career in performance. Many students go on to careers in law, medicine, arts management, or other professions. An audition is required for admission to this program.
