Shaping our Lives one Byte at a Time

MUDs, metaphors, and MOOs: The Cultural Dynamics of Hypertext and the Internet

Visual media and technologies are still in their formative stages, still fumbling around for the words and ways in which to solidify their concepts.  Virtual technologies are trying to come up with their own media, a media that portrays a distinct message.  This project, and my senior capstone on "The Culture of information,"  is an attempt to explore the problems and exciting new ways of thinking that arise from the "newness" of virtual technology.  My desire is to explore how hypertext and the Internet are "Shaping our lives, one byte at a time."

The following selections are my thoughts on a few hypertextual and virtual concepts.
