Summer Institute
For those who can arrange to stay longer than the four days of the conference, Miami’s English Graduate Department will offer a Summer Institute that is connected to the conference. This is a three-week, intensive class that meets to read and discuss the themes of the Woolf conference. A special conference panel will be reserved to allow Institute attendees a chance to present their research. You do not have to be a Miami student to attend Institute classes.
This summer session seminar will be taught by Diana Royer and Madelyn Detloff. Students who wish to receive more information about the Summer Institute should send their contact information to english@muohio.edu indicating that they wish to be placed on the Graduate Student Summer Institute mailing list. Out of state graduate students are welcome. Students from institutions with reciprocal agreements with Miami University may be able to earn course credit from the Institute.
