Programs
Miami’s English Department offers four undergraduate majors: Creative Writing, Linguistics, Literature, and Technical and Scientific Communication. Our Masters’ students select from a range of courses in English and American Literature, Creative Writing, Composition and Rhetoric, and Technical and Scientific Communication. A Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) is also offered for working K-12 teachers is offered through by our nationally recognized Ohio Writing Project . Miami also offers Ph.D programs in Composition and Rhetoric and in Literature.
