English Composition (6 hours)

As part of the Miami Plan , students complete six hours in College Composition to fulfill their Foundation I requirement, taking courses from among the following:

*fulfills the First-Year Seminar requirement

Students may enroll in ENG 001-002, Composition Workshop (1,1), a credit/no-credit laboratory in composition that they take concurrently with their ENG 111 and 112 courses.

Students enrolled in the University Honors Program and Western College Program (School of Interdisciplinary Studies) typically take courses within their respective programs that fulfill this requirement.

Fine Arts, Humanities, Social Science (12 hours)

The following English courses meet the Miami Plan Humanities Requirement (3 hours minimum).

Cultures (6 hours)

The following English courses meet the United States Cultures requirement (3 hours minimum)

The following English Course meets the World Cultures requirement (3 hours minimum)
