Graduate Credit
Undergraduate Seniors may apply for permission to take 500 and 600-level courses for graduate credit if they have completed at least 112 hours toward the B.A. degree, earned a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75, and earned a major GPA of at least 3.0.
Applications must be approved by the Chair of the Department of English.

Credit may be applied to requirements for the bachelor’s degree, or up to 10 hours of this work may count toward a graduate degree. Students must make their choice about credit at the time they apply to the Graduate School. Applications must be submitted one week prior to the start of the class. Students must pay additional fees if they take a course for graduate-level credit.
