The Institute
The Institute, offered every two years, is organized and sponsored by the Department of English for the purpose of addressing important issues and questions in English studies. Each Institute has two components: a conference featuring distinguished scholars and a graduate seminar taught by the Institute directors.
In 2007, the Institute focused on the work of Virginia Woolf and culminated in a conference in June. View the conference website.
