Interactive Media Studies
The Center for Interactive Media Studies (IMS) allows students to supplement traditional disciplinary learning at Miami University with interdisciplinary coursework in digital media. For example, when you take a degree in Technical and Scientific Communication (BATSC) in the English Department, you can also take courses in the IMS minor, the IMS co-major, or just IMS’s interdisciplinary capstone. Combining BATSC and IMS courses gives you a solid background in interactive media technology, writing, design, and team-based learning.
For more information, see Jean Lutz, Director of the Bachelor of Arts in Technical and Scientific Communication and Glenn Platt, Director of the Center for Interactive Media Studies. You can also visit the Interactive Media Studies website.
