Work in Progress
Dr. Mary Fuller directs the Ohio Writing Project and the Ohio Board of Regents’ Writing Institute Network. The programs have trained more than 3,000 teachers in on-site workshops, evaluated writing from 170,000 Ohio students, and offered inservice programs for more than 23,000 teachers. Fuller has received grants for over $6 million to support the programs. She currently directs the English Department MAT program, teaches a capstone for English Education majors, and regularly offers classes in the honors first-year writing program. Her most recent research includes an article on business writing and authority, co-authored with Jean Lutz, under consideration,Technical Communication Quarterly and an essay on grading, under consideration,The National Writing Project Quarterly.
