Alumni
In early 2009, the Department of English began sending an e-newsletter to alumni of the department, inviting recipients to submit updates on their post-Miami lives. The paths they have chosen are incredibly varied, including college teaching and administration, publishing, freelance writing, newspaper and magazine journalism, new media and IT, public relations, marketing, advertising, federal and state government, interior design, poetry and fiction writing, nonfiction writing, film and TV, law, public health, theology, and the military. We are proud of all of our alumni, and want our current students to see all the possibilities open to English majors.
