Funding
Overview
The Department of English supports its graduate students by helping to fund professional and scholarly endeavors with the Graduate Education Enrichment Fund. When appropriate, students are strongly encouraged to seek funds from other Miami University sources designed to support specific activities such as conference participation and thesis/dissertation research. Information about many such sources is included in this section.
The side menu contains descriptions of many of the funding sources available to graduate students. The list is far from comphrehensive, however, and we recommend that you visit the Office for the Advancement of Research and Scholarship as part of your research.
