Facilities
The REU Program is based at Miami
University's Ecology Research Center (ERC). The ERC consists
of 168 acres of diverse habitat located a mile north of campus.
In addition, many habitats are available nearby for student research
projects including old growth and second growth forests, old fields,
agroecosystems, urban areas, lakes, ponds and streams. Hueston
Woods State Park and the Miami University Natural Areas, have
a diverse array of habitats and are located within five miles from
the ERC.
