EHS Classroom Technology
McGuffey/Phillips Hall classrooms are all equipped with an integrated computer and media system. Each class has a projector, Windows computer, VHS/DVD unit, document camera and Starboard screen. The system also enables an instructor to use USB jump drives / storage devices and plug their laptop into the system to take advantage of the projector and media system.
McGuffey Hall also has an auditorium, distance learning classroom and technology classroom.
McGuffey 322 is used as an auditorium, classroom and multiple group meeting area. It is equipped with the same integrated computer and media system. In addition, it also has microphones, loud speakers, lighting systems and a 50” smart board plasma screen.
McGuffey 224 is a distance learning classroom equipped with distance connection equipment, microphones, speakers and conference camera to enable real-time interaction between participants on and off campus.
McGuffey 218 is equipped with 28 Windows computers and a pay – for - print printer. The classroom is prioritized for use with the School of Education and Allied Professions. The computers have an extensive software list. Please note that McGuffey 218 is not an open computer laboratory for student use.
All classrooms are managed by IT Classroom Services. They are responsible for all maintenance and installation issues pertaining to hardware and software. Any software need must be directed to classroom services and requires two weeks notice for testing, licensing and installation.
In addition to these facilities the School of Education and Allied Professions currently has an Apple laptop cart with 10 MacBooks and another cart with 14 IBM laptops for use throughout the building. The laptops are designed to use the wireless network in the building. They are not designed for intensive computing tasks such as data processing.

All reservations are done on a first - come first - serve basis and may be done up to a semester in advance for an entire semester.
All other classrooms including the auditorium (MCG 322) and distance learning class (MCG 224) must be reserved through the registrar.
