Professor of Health Education

 

 
Scholarly and Professional Focus:

Health and human sexuality with an emphasis on Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) education and research as these relate to knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of individuals. Additional interests include 1) Black Americans and health issues as these relate to disparities, 2) men's health, and 3) international health and equity issues.

 

Selected Publications:  
Since 1990 have authored or co-authored 25 articles including one book chapter. The refereed journals published in have included Journal of American College Health, Journal of College Student Development, Journal of Health Education, and Family Life Educator.
