The Curriculum and Teacher Leadership (CTL) M.Ed. Program reflects a commitment to preparing educators to think critically about current school practices, to explore the links between schooling and culture, and to develop methods of transforming schools with a guiding ethic of social justice and equity.
The program is designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of educators, including students interested in continuing in a doctoral program in educational studies, K-12 teachers, and teaching professionals who work in educational programs in the community and agencies.
The CTL program consists of 30 hours of coursework in the areas of curriculum, social foundations of education, leadership, and research.
All classes are offered in the evening at the VOA and Oxford campuses.
